[Mebet]

The Mebetian Royal Court is based in Carthage, the capital of Mebet. Carthage is the dry hot place in the summer, but a cozy beach paradise in the winters.

[Assyr]

A bearded man clothed in white robes and a white keffiyeh walks into the palace, most likely followed by guards. He bows deep in respect in front of your King. When he rises he introduces himself, “Greetings your Highness, I am an ambassador of Assyr, a distant nation in the Orient. I hope I am not interrupting anything?” The man speaks in fluent Latin.

A young man in purple cloths steps up from behind the throne of the Fief, and whispers something into his ear. The Fief nods to the servant, and responds to the bearded man, in a broken Latin, "No, you are not fine. Welcome. I am Fief Gisgo of Tunis. Please, tell me of why you are here."

[Assyr]

"My name is Vahab Baghini." Vahab bowed again before continuing. "My King, Nebuchadnezzar IV Rahal, thinks it is in our best interest to create a friendship between our two nations. Assyr will give Mebet economical support, and in return Mebet will give Assyr militaristic support." Vahab paused and let the information sink in. "In fact, I have a scroll detailing the proposed agreement." Vahab took out a scroll from his deep robe pockets. He held out his hands in front of himself, it was a high crime in his country to touch the King. Vahab was waiting for the servant to take the scroll.

[Mebet]

The servant takes the scroll, bowing slightly for Vahab, and presents it to Fief Gisgo. He takes the scroll meticulously, and reads through the agreements. With a grin on his face, he closes the scroll, and hands it to the servant. The Fief replies in Latin, "I find your homeland to be appealing, if your description of its resources and economics are true. For militaristic assistance, is something I can agree on." The servant would hand the scroll back to Vagab, saying in fluent Latin, "This seems promising. The Field will pray on this. Thank you, Sir."

[Assyr]

Vahab stuttered before he spoke, "Uh.. um.. your Highness, Assyr has little resources like wood or plants. But Assyr does own
two parts of the Silk Road, so great riches travel through its borders everyday." Vahab smiled a little before continuing. "Spices, tea, gold, silver, ivory, and yes silk are traded with the Far East everyday. Much of this can be yours. All Assyr needs is your ships and men when the time is right." Vahab hoped the royal understood the trade taking place. He also added, "Would you please sign the scroll if you have made up your mind, near where King Nebuchadnezzar IV Rahal did? To officiate this document."

[Mebet]

Fief Gisgo humbly says, "This seems to be a tremendous opportunity. I am willing to lend my military and ports whenever needed. Assyrian ships are welcome under the Colossus of Carthage." The Fief leaves his name on the document, along with the stamp of the coat of arms. " My apologies if I startled you by not signing" The servant gives the document to Vahab, saying, "You are welcome to stay in Meet as long as you need. A Mebetian representative and fleet of ships is available to escort you home, at your personal request."

[Assyr]

Vahab took the document and then slipped it back into his robes. He bowed in respect. "Thank you, you are very kind." Vahab paused before continuing. "The King of Assyr will send a message when your military is needed. And the riches will start to come into Mebet soon, although by caravan and camel lines." He also added with a smile, "Assyr is landlocked." With another bow Vahab then left the court room. Soon he would depart back to his home, with great news to his king.
