Re: The Great Hall of Rorukheim
The great doors of the hall creak open. An aged man enters, with a ebony fur coat on his body. His eyes were a stormy mist of gray, as his hair was stone-colored. His face was covered in lengthy hairs of dark grays and blacks. Behind him, a guard of Hyaki warriors, armored with metal pieces having strange patterns. Their swords had blades that looked like icy marble, with hilts of carved leather and wood. Then, who followed was a ginger-bearded man, with a hood that covered the rest of his face.
"Greeting your majesty. I am Chief Hkyar. I have come to speak on behalf of Hyakis about what we have proposed. Kjetil here has come as my translator." the old man spoke, as the man named Kjetil translated every word that the chief said.

Re: The Great Hall of Rorukheim
As Hkyar and men enter the room, the Huskarl guards of Ragnar rush forward axes in hand. They form a shield wall around Hkyar and his men. Their black wood and iron shields with the red wolf on it making it seem like a pack of wolves surrounding them. Their armor consist of a Leather and chainmail. Two shields open up to reveal Ragnar. He wears a fur cloak of wolf hide that conceals anything below the neck. In the commotion, Hkyar’s words were lost. Ragnar is low, like the small growl of a wolf about to lunge out.

Hvis vi går." replied Kjetil, after the Chieftain would nod to the translator.
Kjetil'e eyes were stoic in nature. The translator had a rusted sword at his side, with blood and dirt still staining the blade. He did not fear death, as he was faithful to the northern gods, ready for Valhalla if fight would come.

Palace of Ragnar, Jorrvaskr
Ragnar eyes bore into Kjetil's, looking for any sign of lies or deception. Loki's followers were particularly good with such things, but their eye's always revealed the falseness in their words. What felt like hours of silence end with Ragnar's command, "Nedre!". The Huskarl's lower their shields and back away, returning to their guard posts throughout the room. Ragnar begins to extends his arms out.Hyakis wrote:Rorukheim wrote:As Hkyar and men enter the room, the Huskarl guards of Ragnar rush forward axes in hand. "Velkomme," He says arms fully extended to show the splendor of his hall, "Til Jorrvaskr. Hva kan jeg hjelpe deg med?"

"Our king has lost his use to wear a crown on his head." Hkyar replied, as he motioned himself around the room loosely. "He will leave his crown and throne, swearing fealty to you, if you send soldiers to us and a guarantee that you will go to war with Krakenstein when we request it."
Kjetil translates.

Re: The Great Hall of Rorukheim
Ragnar twiddles with his beard with two fingers. This was a tempting offer, but war is never taken likely. Finally he answers.
“Vi vil godta tilbudet om lojalitet til Rorukheim...” He pauses briefly, “og vi vil kaste vår støtte deg hvis krig kommer. Men vi vil ikke garnison tropper i ditt land.”

Re: The Great Hall of Rorukheim
Kjetil pauses, as he hears these words. "Du kan ikke la en svak mann lede et land så vel som dette. Han frykter de kristne til venstre, sør, og til og med barbarerne i øst. Høvdingene er de eneste som holder ordren der den bare vil ende i rivalisering og anarki. Han lever drømmer om sin far, men de er bare drømmer."
The chief is silent, as he presumes he can trust his slave to not bleed lies in his tongue.

Re: The Great Hall of Rorukheim
Ragnar looks at the messenger with a stoic stare of the northerners.
“Vi har blitt enige om vilkårene dine, men du fortsetter å fortsette med hva? Vil du at vi skal utnevne en ny konge i ditt land for å herske under Rorukheim? Hvis så, så betrakt denne høvdingen som din nye konge.” he replies

"Høvdingene ville bare respektere gullet i lommene sine. Jeg ber om å være din konge," the Kjetil said.

Re: The Great Hall of Rorukheim
Ragnar leans forward after hearing this commoner, this slave demand to be the king.
”Hvofor skal jeg gjøre deg til konge? Du er en thrall. Hva har du over noen høvding?” He says, a strange sense of curiosity in his voice
