Request for Land
Brothers, I, Archbishop Peter, ask to have my King, Tobias III, be granted rights to conquer Bohemia and Moravia. These lands were subject to previous Magyar raids, and have only begun converting to the one true faith several years ago. King Tobias III would like to inform the Holy See that he intends to peacefully occupy the regions, and will only draw swords if his rule, which is God's will, is not accepted. His reasons are:
I - As a show of gratitude to the papacy, King Tobias III will conquer and spread Christianity to the lands of Bohemia and Moravia. This will give the papacy a greater grip on Europe.
II - To provide stability, as Bohemia and Moravia are full of lords who feud with one another. Tobias III will conquer these lands and will stop the quarrels. These lords will be left to unite under one banner and one flag, one that represents the One True Faith. By providing greater stability, a united front will be ready to protect us from true danger that looms.
Brothers, I humbly ask that you review this request with utmost honesty.

"With the honesty you asked of us, brother, I must say, while the offer of his Higness King Tobias is tempting, I do not think such an enterprise would strengthen christiandom, but weaken his Realm. Hasn't he recently extended himself in Italia ? Maybe should he be reminded that he who want to protect everything, protect nothing. And it is my fear it is the path he is chosing."

Brother, I assure you that King Tobias is choosing the path to the unification of Christendom. He is the undisputed ruler of Austria, By God's Will, and no man stands in his way there. His power base is in Austria, and Austria is at peace. By unifying the fractured peoples of Bohemia and Moravia, more of Christendom will have opportunity. There are bigger chances to thrive, to achieve success, to become wealthy and powerful. But in a fractured community, it is hard to become influential. It is harder to seek out your dreams when all of your neighbors constantly squabble over power.
Not only does it give Christendom chances, but it gives Christendom power. A unified Christendom stands a much greater chance against our threats. One of those is that of the East, that of the Byzantines. Not only do they threaten our homes, but they threaten our comfort. If they come into control, we'd lose our position with God. We'd become nothing more than beggars instead of the influential Men of God. I would lose my homeland, my duties, and so would every Archbishop, including those of Auvergene's. With mighty, unified armies defending these lands, no man could subject us and take away our lives.
Think what good Unified Lands are, my brother.

Cardinal Bakocz:
I must speak on other's behalfs too, brothers. The Kingdom of Varasd, the realm from where I hail, is currently standing as the sole bastion of Christendom, defending the True Faith from North, South, and East. If Sielburg would be given an accepted claim to these territories, the Kingdom of Varasd would be able to defend the True Faith more steadily too, if needed. I wholeheartedly agree with this request.

Cardinal Benoit :
"If you think so, then we shall see. King Thobias may extend his realm in Bohemia and Moravia, as the custodian of the North, without opposition from his Catholic Brethen. If he manage to hold theses territories, he will be recognize as their rigthful King, by might and right. If not, then God judged it was not his time. Do my Brothers agree with me ?"

Re: Request for Land
Cardinal Bakocz:
But what is the opinion of our other Cardinals? Again, I would like to express that the King of Varasd would even help with the campaign of Sielburg, and the Order of Saint George, under leadership of Prince-Grand Master Stephan, would march from their newly acquired territories around the city of Krakow to defeat the heathens.
What do you say, brothers? Do you give your blessing to extend the realm of God?

Cardinal Amos of Antioch
"Let it be so. May the King Tobias carry the cross to these heathens that they might accept it or bleed as our savior once did at the hands of the pagans of old."

Very well then brothers!
King Tobias III shall gladly head to Bohemia and Moravia, and conquer them in the name of God! The King eagerly awaits the armies of Varasd.
