Regional Factbook Entry contect!

The regional factbook entry contest thread!
Hey people!
I've noticed recently that our regional factbook entry is waaay to plain, simple, and outdated. I've been thinking about it for a while now, what to write into it, etc., but coudn't come up with anything really useful, or creative.
So I was thinking that we make a regional contest about it! Anyone can post their ideas here, and we'll have a vote on which one you like the most!
The winner gets +1 region on the map!
In before anyone says I'm lazy, I really can't come up with anything good, I've tried, believe me. Plus I think this is a good way to get you all involved a little bit more in the life of the region!

You should add a fluff to the factbook. It's the first thing we see when we go on the region's page. Set a tone, an atmosphere. "A harsh world, with a lot of enemies, and opportunities."
From my years of roleplaying experience, Medieval roleplay has to be one of the most interesting topics to play with. You need to stimulate the roleplayers, make them hyped about joining. It's gonna hook people to the region for a minute and surely attract more players towards us.

We need more color and horizontal lines. That's really all it takes to fix it up. Setting a tone is something I agree with.

From over the Steppes, Mongol hordes have arrived as harbingers of a coming greater invasion. In the Near East, a Jewish king claims dominion over the Holy Land as Muslim lords dominate the Silk Road. And at the heart of Europe, Rome remembers its ancient glory and hungers to restore it.
What manner shall your nation take? A feudal realm of scheming nobles all serving their own petty interests? A host of holy warriors sent to smite the infidel and spread the word of their god?
